Hull City A.F.C, founded in 1904, revealed their first official club crest in 1935 and it featured the three crowns of Kingston Upon Hull's heraldry. The black and orange colours of their kit instigated the nickname of The Tigers, therefore it was only a matter of time before the badge reflected this, featuring a roaring Tiger, for the first time, in 1947.
